It’s hard to get back into the pace of things, but slowly I’m getting there. 5 Responses to “ Must…create…spectacular…things ”Leave a ReplyPosted in Uncategorized by Carter : September 18, 2008 - 11:37am |

Love the rainbow chandelier necklace. We have one of his sculptures at the Milwaukee Art Museum here in town and I love it! I guess that’s probably why I love your necklace so much!

First, CONGRATS on your engagement… YOO HOO You two!! (Maybe you should start a wedding blog to chronicle your experiences up to the big day)
Second, love love love the new necklaces. That PMC chain is fantastic. And I think the colors in the pieces are delisious. The leather straps remind me of some new earrings over on Zoa Art.
The Chandelier is beautiful too. Fun and fantastic colors. I love what that dud does with glass and his artwork too. Just incredible.

Beautiful PMC chain. One of the Chicago area botanic gardens hosted a Chihuly exhibit a couple years ago - it was a really wonderful setting in which to view his work.

Carter-found your blog through Jennifer at Jangles (I sat next to her at Susan Lenart Kazmer’s class on resins). I am fascinated by your work! Read with great interest your article in Belle Armoire Jewelry and I see that you are all over the beading magazine circuit! Dale Chihuly is incredible and your homage to him is spot on! He has work in the Kohl Center at UW Madison, strange place for glass to be in a sports arena, but it works! Congrats on the engagement! It is sure to be a special day for a special girl. I will check back often. Enjoy the day! Erin Prais-Hintz, Tesori Trovati Jewelry
